Having begun life in 1909 as one of several libraries around the world funded by donations from industrialist Andrew Carnegie, the building that houses the Carnegie Museum now maintains a rotating array of exhibits about local and natural history, science, and culture. Kids will want to check out the Science Center, which contains exhibits designed specifically for the young set.
